Our Constitution

1. Name: - The supporters club shall be known as "Auchtermuchty Tartan Army" hereinafter known as ATA.

2. Object: - The object of ATA shall be to support the Scotland national football team whenever they are playing at home and return with as near the same number that travelled as possible.

3. Membership: - Membership shall be open to any individual, subject to approval. The approval will include previous history of conduct at football matches and an acceptance of Scotland Supporters Club (SSC) membership.

4. AGM:- The Annual General Meeting shall be held in January.

5. Sub-Committee: - The committee can appoint, from the membership, a sub-committee to deal with specific matters as they arise.

6. Membership Fees: - The members shall decide the fees for membership at the AGM. ATA is a non-profit making organisation, and club funds will pay for pre-match entertainment and also if enough funds available for subsidised bus fares for members to Home games.

7. Finance: - The financial year will run from January to December.

8. Expenditure: - Two members of the committee must sign cheques.

9. Auditor: - An auditor shall be appointed to audit accounts on an annual basis.

10. Behaviour of Members: - Any member deemed guilty of improper conduct shall be subject to disciplinary action and SSC will be notified if deemed necessary. Anyone subsequently expelled / resigning, shall have no claim to any subscriptions paid. The decision of the committee is final.

11. Disputes: - Any queries or disputes should be put in writing to the committee. A meeting shall then be arranged to discuss the matter raised.

12. Amendments: - The committee shall be empowered to make alterations and / or additions to the Constitution and Rules, which shall be deemed to be binding until amended at the next meeting of ATA.

13. Disbandment: - If existing membership falls below 10 members, the club will be deemed not viable and all existing funds will be donated to a selected local charity.

 

 Our Rules

1. Membership: Joining fee of £20.00 per adult per annum. Children are free but can only join if one/both Parent(s)/Guardian(s) is a member of ATA. Children between the ages of 16 and 18 who are still in education pay £10 membership and £10 on the bus.

2. In order to keep members together at home and away matches, the Travel Conveners shall be responsible for coordinating ticket requests and forwarding to the SSC. All ticket requests and fees must be received one week before the SSC prescribed latest date. Tickets will only be bought for existing SSC members as now limited to 1 ticket per SSC member. ATA members who are not SSC members must apply for tickets via ballot or web sales and inform the committee to be allocated seats on the bus. All ATA members will be still notified with details of fixtures, ticket prices, phone line and ballot details.

3. Any ATA Member who is a SSC Member and does not wish to use their ticket allocation for a fixture will relinquish their rights to use their ticket and it will be allocated to another ATA member. Any unusual circumstances will be reviewed at that time by the committee. This is due to the ruling by the SFA that SSC members are limited to only 1 ticket.

4. All members travelling to home games must inform the Home Travel Convener at least 4 weeks before the fixture.

5. Buses shall leave Auchtermuchty - pickup points and times t.b.a.

6. All members must sign up for membership to SSC as next nearest opportunity.

7. Membership of ATA will be terminated if the membership to SSC is terminated.

8. U16s travelling with ATA must be accompanied by an adult.

9. Any member whose annual membership subscription is 3 months overdue will have his / her name removed from the membership roll.

    Any serious breach of the rules and constitution shall result in the member losing membership.

    Any resignation from the membership of ATA shall be reported at the following AGM after the reason for the resignation has been ascertained by the committee.
